On March 5, 2006 the people at Hope Missionary Church in Bluffton Indiana began a time of Spirit led 24 hour a day prayer. The goal was to pray for 7 days, but God had other plans.

I just came out of the prayer room and I believe that God is not finished working in lives by the way of this precious place. Be encouraged watchmen! Even greater things are to come!
I grew up under a fantastic pair of watchmen in my grandfather and grandmother. I can remember always hoping I would be a prayer warrior when I grew up. This boiler room has enabled me to take a big step in the direction God has for me as a prayer warrior. That is totally awesome!!
Since starting in the prayer room I cannot wait to return. I will continue to sign up for a couple of hours a week just because I can feel God's presence in that room. I feel closer to God than I ever have.
God is not finished with us by a long shot. As I entered the prayer room today, I was reminded again that this is really about HIM. He has called us to keep praying! Don't give up the good fight, Watchmen! The Devil will try to stop us, but God is stronger. We just need to remember that when the times get tough.

I cannot wait to sign up for the prayer room. It has been such a life-changing experience for me. I can't explain the effect it's had on my life. It's been awesome!
I have found a new meaning to the old hymn, "Sweet Hour of Prayer"...Thank You Lord for what You are doing in so many ways!
